NAAMACHA

HAPPINESS

MOZAMBIQUE, AFRICA

THE PROJECT

In the context of fighting absolute poverty and social exclusion in Mozambique, our Government has been making efforts to dignify the elderly and vulnerable children, and ensure the protection and full exercise of the fundamental human rights in assisting these vulnerable communities.

It is necessary to adopt measures that involve all Mozambicans, especially here, in the Matianine area, in an effort to care for the elderly.

Lead by Emma Custer, holistic therapist and humanitarian, The Naamacha Happiness project helps the elderly communities of Macuacua and Mahubo, who suffer from abandonment and family rejection, intimidation, physical and psychological violence and humiliation.

The project provides access to basic health care, drinking water, adequate food, clothing and decent housing.

And moral and psychological support at the family level.
